Tyson Luke Fury is a professional fighter of the British origin. He was conceived on the twelfth of august 1988. He was victorious in the Unified WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, The Ring magazine. And lineal heavyweight championships by beating Wladimir Klitschko in Germany in the year 2015. Following the success. The Ring magazine awarded him Upset of the Year and Fighter of the Year honors. Fury was ranked as the best active heavyweight champion in the world by The Ring magazine in the month of December 2019. Also 2nd by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, and 4th by BoxRec.

Fury was representing both Ireland and England at the beginning of his career. Since his birthplace is Manchester. His parents were Irish Traveler family and followed his family heritage to relatives in Galway and Belfast.

Tyson Fury

The ABA super-heavyweight title was won by Fury in 2008 and then at the age of 20, he turned a professional fighter. He has crowned the British and Commonwealth champion after winning the English heavyweight championships two times in 2011. The winning margin was 14–0 against Dereck Chisora. He also was winning the WBO Inter-Continental and the Irish championships after beating Chisora again in a rematch for the WBO International heavyweight and European championships in 2014. 10 days after the fight with Klitschko, the IBF title was taken away from Tyson Fury. He could not accept the challenge proposed by Vyacheslav Glazkov for a rematch that was in contract with Klitschko. The rematch against Klitschko did not happen as Fury was not stable mentally, inciting alcohol misuse, he was gaining a lot of weight, and drug use. He was also alleged of breaching anti-dope rules. He gave away the WBO, IBO, and WBA titles in 2016. At the start of 2018, The Ring took away his last title. After over two years of lethargy, later in the year 2018, Fury tried for the WBC heavyweight title when he challenged Deontay Wilder.

Note: Fury will face Wilder in a rematch on 22nd February 2020.

The battle was shockingly scored as a draw, with many trusting Fury won. Fury’s solid execution against Wilder, he also came back strongly after a knock down in the final round, which got him the Comeback of the Year from The Ring magazine and various distinctions.
